Polices
We require a 10-day written notice before your draft date to cancel or hold your membership. Cancellation must be received in person.
YMCA Code of Conduct In addition, The YMCA reserves the right to deny access or membership to any person who has been accused or convicted of any crime involving sexual abuse, is or has been a registered sex offender, has ever been convicted of any offense relating to the use, sale, possession, or transportation of narcotics or habit forming and/or dangerous drugs, or is presently or habitually under the influence of dangerous drugs or chemicals, narcotics, or intoxicating beverages. AWAY (Always Welcome at the YMCA) Program • For your child’s safety, we require a parent/guardian to be on site at the YMCA for children under the age of 15.
The YMCA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members, guests, staff and volunteers. To promote safety and comfort for all, all individuals are asked to act appropriately at all times when in our facility or participating in our programs.
We expect persons using the YMCA to act maturely, to behave responsibly, and to respect the rights and dignity of others. Our Member’s Code of Conduct outlines prohibited action, but the actions listed below are not an all-inclusive list of behaviors considered inappropriate in our facilities or programs.
AWAY (Always Welcome at the YMCA) Program
This program allows YMCA members to use their membership card, while traveling, at YMCA’s throughout the US and Canada. The YMCA of the Treasure Coast offers AWAY members from other YMCA’s a complimentary two-week pass to our facility. To find out a YMCA’s AWAY member policy call (888)333-YMCA or visit www.ymca.net.

Guest Pass Policy
If you are not a member of the YMCA, you can purchase two guest passes per year. The rates for guest passes are:
Daily: $10 individual / $20 family
Weekly: $30 individual / $45 family
If you are a member of the YMCA, you will receive two complimentary, one day passes for each guest per year. If you would like to bring a guest, stop by the welcome center desk and ask for complimentary guest passes. You must accompany your guest on his/her visit to the YMCA facilities.
All guests must complete a release form at the Welcome Center Desk before using the facility and bring a photo ID.
Youth Policy
• Children ages 6 weeks – 8 years old must be in a YMCA program, with the parent, or in ChildWatch while parent /guardians are in the YMCA.
• Children ages 9-14 years old may use the fitness center when accompanied by a parent/guardian after receiving a teen fitness orientation. Height restrictions may apply to use on some equipment.
• Children ages 9-14 may swim at the pool while their parents are in the facility. Children will be required to take a swim test.
Credit and Refund Policy
• If the YMCA needs to cancel a class, a program credit will be issued as a refund. Program credits can be used for all programs at the YMCA. Pro-rated refund will be given for medical reasons. Membership refunds will be given only with a written medical excuse in the case of annual cash dues. Members on the monthly draft may discontinue the membership with ten (10) days written notice prior to the draft date in person at the YMCA. Memberships are not transferable. There is a 3-month refund policy, please review your bank or credit card statement monthly to ensure account accuracy. 3 months of membership dues is the maximum refund for errors.
