Camp Financial Assistance

Scholarship applicants - due to high demand for financial assistance, the following programs have a waiting list for scholarship funds: Teddy Bear Academy Preschool, Camp on Bayshore Blvd, Camp PSL East, Gymnastics Rec. Classes, and all St. Lucie County afterschool program and Ft. Pierce Summer Camp .
 
We welcome scholarship applications for summer camps at all camp locations. Scholarship spaces are available in Camp Expedition, Camp Teddy Bear, Aqua Camp and Gymnastics Camp. Scholarships are NOT available on Specialty Camps. To process your application, you must complete name and location of the camp and the dates of the camp for which you are applying.

A summer camp scholarship will only be awarded for the dates(s) you request. A scholarship to summer camp is only offered to those chlldren whose parents work at least 20 hours per week or study full-time. You will be required to pay a nonrefundable deposit to hold each camp week you request. Please note that the space is limited in many camps. YMCA scholarships are awarded according to demonstrated financial need on a first-come first-served basis for as long as YMCA funds are available.
