Financial Assistance

Your donations help the Y provide more than $200,000 a year in scholarships so that children and families without the financial resources are able to access our programs and services. These funds help kids attend preschool and child care programs. They also pay for swimming lessons, summer camp, youth sports and more. At the Y, we believe all children should have the opportunity to grow, thrive and learn. We believe our community becomes a better place when all our children are able to explore their abilities to their fullest potential.

Membership fees help cover operational and program costs.  But if you can help further, please consider donating, becoming a volunteer, joining our Community Advisory Committee, or helping us with fundraising as a Y Ambassador.

If you need help, please call us, or download the PDF from the link below, fill out the form and bring it into the Y. Or, you can simply come in and fill out the form on the spot.

We use a sliding fee scale for each individual’s financial situation. Recipients pay a portion of their YMCA membership fees to foster a greater sense of ownership, pride and responsibility.  As much as we would like to provide each applicant with funding, our Community Support Campaign funds are limited. As a result, funds may occasionally be unavailable and limited to those who demonstrate the greatest need.

To submit the quick form, applicants must provide a copy of last years’ tax return (not a W-2). Otherwise, applicants can fill out a regular funding application. PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETE THE APPLICATION IN FULL, TO THE BEST OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE.

All YMCA members receive the same membership benefits, regardless of whether they receive assistance. That’s because we care about the health and well-being of every member of the community. We are committed to our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
