* Rules: Based on standard regulations but are modified for each division. They are designed to give all players of different skill levels an equal opportunity for success.
* Behavior: Appropriate behavior must always be shown at all practices and games. Adults are powerful role models and should always display good character in their words and actions. Only positive encouragement should be given and instruction should only be given by the coaches to prevent confusion.
* Divisions/Placement: Based on skill and available room in each division. Skills are assessed through scheduled evaluations and coach recommendations. We apologize but your estimation of your child’s abilities may not match the judgment of our coaches and league administrators. If warranted, players may be moved when space is available. Level 1- players with less experience/ Level 2- players with more experience - higher skill level and experience than level 1 / Level 3- Players with
a higher amount of skill level and experience. Level 4-
highest skill level and experience.
* Technique training:
There will be no evaluation needed to join this
level. It will be a more intense version than our existing levels

of the game. The instruction will be on both Monday and Friday (no
games). The instructor will be Janaina Miranda, of JM#10. Janaina is a
former world champion Brazilian National volleyball player, former
college All American and “Most Valuable Player”, volleyball trainer and
club volleyball coach.
* Coaches: Keep in mind that all coaches are volunteers. Head volunteer coaches are required to go through our training session, which includes instruction and advice from high school coaches.
* Balls: Children are encouraged to bring their own balls with their name on it for practice. Standard, official size volleyballs are used.
* Gym Rules: Only clear liquids in spill-proof containers are allowed in the gym. No soda, coffee, smoothies, or any other non-clear drinks. Clear drinks must be in closed containers. No open containers or paper cups may be brought in the gym. No food or candy may be brought in the gym.
