GOLF FITNESS

TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. Using collected data TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

We are proud to have Titleist Performance Institute Golf Certified Instructor Cathleen Kaltenhauser, CPT back on staff here at the Y!

Cat received her certification in 2014 and has been training golfers of all abilities, including professional golfers. Her passion is helping not only golfers, but anyone interested in gaining strength, flexibility, mobility and balance.  These fundamentals can help in all areas of activities of daily living, and let’s face it, gaining 30+ more yards on your drive would be great!
